Dr. Amal John Jacob is an Assistant Professor in the Department of ENT at KMCT Medical College Hospital. He completed his MBBS in 2010 from Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalapet, Pondicherry, and earned his MS in ENT in 2013 from Vinayaka Mission's Kirupananda Variyar Medical College & Hospital.
Dr. Amal joined KMCT Medical College Hospital on 8th January 2018 and is registered with the Travancore Cochin Medical Council (TCMC) under registration number 40855.
Throughout his career, Dr. Amal has made significant contributions to medical research. His notable publications include:

Dr. Amal has actively participated in various conferences and presented papers on topics such as temporal lobe herniation, fibrous dysplasia of the maxilla, and Dirofilarias infection. Notably, he presented an invited lecture on Endo DCR with stenting at the South Zone ENT Conference in Madurai in 2017. His recent achievement includes presenting at the ENT World Congress held in Dubai in January 2023. Among his accolades, Dr. Amal secured 3rd place for his video presentation at the AOI South Zone & Kerala State ENT Conference 2019, earned a university gold medal in his MS ENT final exam, and received the 3rd prize for a consultant paper presentation at KENTCON 2023.
Dr. Amal holds memberships in prestigious organizations such as the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI) at both the national and state levels. His work experience includes serving as a Junior Resident at VMKV Medical College, followed by his role as a Senior Resident and later as Assistant Professor at KMCT Medical College.
