Dr. K. Moidu is the founder and Chairman of The KMCT Group of Institutions. Originally from Kuttiady in Calicut, Dr. Moidu is a renowned medical practitioner and a prominent social figure. He was part of the first batch of M.B.B.S. students who passed out from the Madurai Medical College in 1960. In 1968, Dr. Moidu set up the Western Hospital a 50 bedded hospital in the heart of Calicut city. He later went on to start the National Hospital, a 300 bedded multi-specialty hospital. In 1994, he founded The Kunhitharuvai Memorial Charitable Trust Group of Institutions or KMCT to give yeoman services in the field of education and health care. In 2001, through KMCT he started many professional colleges. There are 22 professional colleges with almost 7000 students. Around 1500 people are directly employed and 6000 people benefit indirectly through KMCT. Dr. Moidu was one of the founder directors of Muslim Educational Society (MES), which started many educational institutions in Kerala. A good leader and organizer, Dr. Moidu has served as the president of Calicut Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), The Rotaract Club of Calicut and Indian Medical Association (IMA), Calicut chapter.

He is also currently a member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), KMTC (Kerala Medical Technology Consortium) CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) and CMA (Calicut Management Association). 

Taking over the reigns as Trustee and Director at KMCT Group of Institutions since 2021, Dr. Ayisha has established herself as the rock hold support to all the activities that run the group as a whole. A centralized control with a decentralized action plan has been her trump card which reflects in all spheres of operations at KMCT. Her core idea is to enhance the services already available at KMCT to higher levels of quality and set her own standards that focus on ease of operations, freedom of opinions and thoughtful actions.
