Dr. Hafsa Salim is an Associate Professor in the Department of General Surgery at KMCT
Medical College Hospital, where she has been serving since June 28, 2019. She completed
her MBBS in February 2013 from Vinayaka Mission University and Medical College,
followed by her MS in General Surgery in September 2019 from Sri Siddhartha Medical
College.
Dr. Hafsa has contributed to medical research with significant publications, including:

Dr. Hafsa is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Indian
Medical Association (IMA), the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the Indian
Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES), and the Indian Society of
Anaesthesiologists (ISA).
She has attended numerous national conferences and workshops, such as:
• Hands-on Endo Trainer Workshop with IAGES (March 25-27, 2022) at Saraswathy
Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram.
• Live Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Workshop in association with the Association of Breast
Surgeons of India (ABSI), Indo-UK Breast Surgery Forum, and Kauvery Hospital (May 8,
2022).
With over 8 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Hafsa has served as a Junior
Resident at Sri Siddhartha Medical College and as a Senior Resident at KMCT Medical
College before taking on the role of Assistant Professor and now Associate Professor in the
Department of General Surgery.
