Dr. Jyothi P.T. is a Professor and the Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at KMCT Medical College Hospital. She completed her MBBS in September 1984, followed by an MS in September 1989, and a Diploma in Ophthalmology in March 1988, all from Government Medical College, Kozhikode.
She joined KMCT Medical College Hospital on July 1, 2022, and is registered with TCMC under Council Registration Number 13563.

Dr. Jyothi is also an active member of various professional organizations, including Indian Medical Association (IMA), Kerala Society of Ophthalmic Surgeons (KSOS), and All India Ophthalmic Society (AIOS). She has participated in 32 national conferences and has served as a reviewer for manuscripts for Kerala Journal of Ophthalmology. Currently, she is the Vice President of Kozhikode Ophthalmic Society, where she is involved in both organizational and academic activities. Her dedication to continuing education is reflected in her participation in the Revised Basic Course Workshop.
Dr. Jyothi has over 33 years of extensive experience, having held multiple positions at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, including Senior Resident, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. She also served as a Professor at Government Medical College, Manjeri, and is currently in her role at KMCT Medical College. Dr. Jyothi P.T.’s extensive expertise in ophthalmology, combined with her commitment to research, teaching, and patient care, significantly enriches the environment at KMCT Medical College Hospital and strengthens the broader medical community.
