She
went on to pursue her DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, graduating in July 2003 from
Government Medical College, Rajnandgaon, under NTR University of Health Sciences,
Andhra Pradesh.
She joined KMCT Medical College Hospital as an Assistant Professor on 03/04/2023. Dr.
Lakshmi is registered with the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council (Registration Number:
49426).
Her research includes notable publications such as:
1. “Fetal Birth Weight: A Challenge to the Mother and Simplest Marker for Fetal Maturity –
A Study in a New Rural Hospital Setup.”
2. “A Study on Comparison of Cerviprime and IV Oxytocin in Labour Induction and
Evaluation of Changes in Bishop’s Score with These Two Agents.”
Dr. Lakshmi is an active member of both the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the
Confederation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies (COGS).
Her professional experience includes medical residency at Government Medical College,
Rajnandgaon, and G V P Medical College. She has also worked as an Assistant Professor at
G V P Medical College before joining KMCT Medical College Hospital.
