Dr. Thulaseedharan joined KMCT Medical College on June 16, 2021, as Professor and Head of the Department of Medicine. Prior to this, he served in key positions across various esteemed institutions, including Government Medical Colleges in Kerala, where he made significant contributions to medical education, clinical practice, and public health.

Notable among his achievements is the special award conferred by the Chief Minister of Kerala for his instrumental role in successfully containing the Nipah virus outbreak in the state. His leadership and expertise have earned him a place on several expert committees and academic bodies

In addition to his academic and professional contributions, Dr. Thulaseedharan serves as Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Proceedings, a prestigious publication by the Department of Medicine, Government Medical College, Kozhikode. He is also an active member of multiple institutional ethics and research committees, including those at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, MVR Cancer Centre, and the College of Nursing, Kozhikode.

Throughout his career, Dr. Thulaseedharan has remained committed to fostering academic excellence and clinical innovation. He has participated in 21 national and 4 international conferences, consistently contributing to the advancement of medical science and education.
