Dr. Lisha Govind K. V. is a highly experienced Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and
Gynaecology at KMCT Medical College Hospital. She completed her MBBS from AIMS
Bellur (Mysore University) in July 2000, followed by her PG in June 2013 from Govt.
Medical College, Kozhikode (NBE).
She also holds a DGO from JSS Hospital, Mysore
(RGUHS University), completed in March 2007.
She joined KMCT Medical College Hospital on June 1, 2015, and has since been a key figure
in both teaching and clinical practice. Dr. Lisha has authored several notable publications,
including:
1. Prevalence, pattern, and predictors of premenstrual syndrome and premenstrual dysphoric

2. Association between hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and maternal thyroid stimulating

Her membership in esteemed professional organisations includes the Indian Medical
Association (IMA), Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI),
and College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (COGS). Dr. Lisha has served in various
academic roles, including Assistant Professor and Associate Professor, before serving her
current position as Professor at KMCT Medical College Hospital. Her clinical residency
training took place at JSS Medical College, Mysore, and Govt. Medical College, Calicut.
