Dr. Veny John, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at KMCT Medical College Hospital, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. She completed her MBBS in April 2002 and earned her MD in Paediatrics in May 2008, along with a Diploma in Child Health (DCH).
Since joining KMCT Medical College Hospital in March 2012, she has been an integral part of the department, contributing significantly to both the academic and clinical development of her students and colleagues.
Her research works include notable publications as follows:
1. Clinical Profile of Dengue Fever in Children – A Study from Calicut, Kerala
2. Prevalence of Overweight and Obesity among Students of Class 11 & 12 - A Study from Calicut
Additionally, she is an active member of professional bodies such as Indian Medical Association (IMA), Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP), and National Neonatology Forum (NNF).
