Dr. Ananya Sampath serves as a Senior Resident in the Department of Paediatrics at KMCT Medical College Hospital. She completed her MBBS in March 2015 and earned her postgraduate degree (MD) in Paediatrics in May 2019. Additionally, she completed her IDPCCM (Indian Diploma of Paediatric Critical Care Medicine) in January 2023.
Her research contributions include:
1. A clinical study to determine the relationship between serum vitamin D levels and severity of asthma. International Journal of Contemporary Paediatrics, 4(3), 123-130. (2017)
She has been recognised for her academic excellence, having won the IAP and NNF Quiz in 2017 and 2018, as well as receiving the prestigious Lingaraju Award for highest marks in Preventive and Social Medicine (PSM).
Dr. Ananya is a member of LAP (since 2020) and PICC (since 2022). Her conference participation includes both national and international events such as Pedicriticon 2022 (Bhubaneswar), a symposium on cytokine release syndrome in 2023 (Bengaluru), Pedicriticon 2023 (Pune), and APICS 2022 (Singapore).
Her work experience spans medical residency at IGICH Bangalore and Apollo Chennai, and she currently holds her role at KMCT Medical College Hospital.
