Dr. Nileena Paul serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at KMCT Medical College Hospital. She completed her MBBS in September 2010, followed by her MD in Paediatrics in November 2017.
She joined KMCT Medical College on January 7, 2019, and has been actively contributing to both academics and clinical practice.
Her research publications include:
• Predictors of Glycemic Control in Children with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, published in the International Journal of Current Research, December 2017.
• A Clinical Study on the Incidence, Clinical Course, and Prognosis of Community-Acquired Pneumonia in Children Below 5 Years with Deficiency of Vitamin D, Serum Zinc, Ig G, Ig M, and Serum Iron.
Dr. Nileena is a member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP). She has attended national conferences, including the National Conference of Neurodevelopment Paediatrics in August 2024.
She has over 9 years of work experience, including her medical residency at Government Medical College, Thrissur, and KMCT Medical College Hospital. Currently, she holds the position of Assistant Professor at KMCT Medical College Hospital.
